About EMCA

China Energy Conservation Association Energy Service Industry Committee (in short EMCA) was formally approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs set up a non-profit organizations, social groups and assume the World Bank / Global Environment Facility China Energy Conservation Promotion Project 2 EMCo services subproject tasks. The project is the National Development and Reform Commission, the World Bank (WB) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) jointly organized and implemented large-scale international cooperation projects. The purpose is through demonstration and promotion of "Contract Energy Management," a new energy-saving mechanism for promoting China's energy-saving mechanisms, expansion of energy-saving investment, improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protected areas and global environment. Through the further promotion and development of "Energy Management Contract" mechanism, targeted for emerging and potential EMCo to provide technical assistance to help them establish and improve all aspects of operational capability.
